Adulated or criticized, like many of his colleagues, Jean-Marie Bigard divides. Indeed, being a comedian is not always easy because no one can be unanimous. Some adhere to the sketches while others do not find them funny or vulgar. The fact remains that the companion of Lola Marois is one of the most famous and emblematic actors in the country. Moreover, this is proven with his estimated fortune, at one point in his career, at several million euros.
It seems good to remember that the one who now officiates daily on TPMP alongside Cyril Hanouna, filled the Stade de France. And in the middle, few comedians can boast of having done the same. It was in 1987 that Jean-Marie Bigard really started his career when he worked with a figure in the middle: Laurent Baffie, with whom he wrote a hundred sketches. This allows him to rise among the most famous French comedians of the last three decades and ensure him a good fortune.
Jean-Marie Bigard had several million euros
Indeed, last June, the companion of Lola Marois was the guest of Jordan de Luxe. The opportunity for him to talk openly about the money he was able to pocket during his career, when he was at his peak. “I was releasing my show at the end of November and at the end of December, I had sold 500,000 DVDs. I had seven euros on each DVD. And then, 500,000 DVDs the rest of the year”he explained to give an idea of the money he earned just from his DVDs.
All this added with his shows, so that would have allowed him to “earn up to 7 million euros over the year for each show”. But in addition to his shows, Jean-Marie Bigard, who firmly reframed a guest on TPMP at the beginning of the week, officiates until December 2021 in The Big Heads on RTL with Laurent Ruquier. A presence that brings him back “600 euros per show. If you go twice a week, that’s 1,200. And over four weeks, that’s 4,000 euros”. If, today, his fortune is no longer what it was, the columnist of TPMP still managed to go up to 7 million euros. A sum that he could perhaps find one day, in particular with his new show Parole de complotiste, which he has been playing since last September.
