An eight-year-old girl managed to save her grandmother who was suffering from a heart attack. To do this, she called the firefighters and followed their instructions to the letter.
In one photo, the smile of a little girl and her grandmother, reunited again. Eight-year-old Kalli saved her thanks to her extraordinary composure. On October 25, Georgette, 64, suffered a heart attack at her home in Essonne. Her granddaughter picks up the phone and calls for help. Calmly, she follows the advice of the operator on the line to the letter. The firefighters arrived six minutes later: Georgette was out of danger thanks to the intervention of her granddaughter.
The little girl graduated from the firefighters
Kalli’s mother is very proud. “She knew how to stay calm, she did what was necessary. (…) The first actions she made saved her”, she describes. His actions and reflexes were praised by the firefighters. “It’s surprising to see how she managed to freeze the situation, to do first aid, to call us, to be able to correctly size the help that had to come to save her grandmother.”, is surprised by Lieutenant Jérôme Cailleaux, head of the SDIS Lisses Rescue Center. Kalli received a mini first aid diploma from the Essonne brigade. Enough to give her ideas: she too could see herself becoming a firefighter.
