Spontaneous, the debates in “TPMP”, the show produced and hosted by Cyril Hanouna? This extract from a portrait of the “new godfather of the PAF”, broadcast on November 30 in “Complement of investigation”, shows how written instructions were given to the columnists before their arrival on set.
Do you think that the debates in “Touche pas à mon poste” are totally spontaneous? That the speakers express themselves without the discussion themes being oriented, or even locked? In short, the exchanges between Cyril Hanouna and his columnists take place as in this scene taken from a behind-the-scenes documentary on “TPMP” (produced by Cyril Hanouna), where the host assures, for example, one of his columnists that “It’s good that you say what you think…“. Maybe… but that’s not always the case!
In a documentary entitled “Cyril Hanouna, the new godfather of the PAF!” broadcast on November 30 in “Complément d’investigation”, Virginie Vilar recovered dozens of SMS exchanged between the production of “TPMP” and its columnists. Messages which show how, before their appearance on set, the exchanges between the C8 star and his columnists are settled… to the word, or almost.
“On Arthur, Cyril wants us to say that”
Example with a program broadcast in 2021. Cyril Hanouna has just broadcast a scathing parody which targets one of his great rivals, the host Arthur. Following this sequence, TF1 publicly denounced the sketch. On the set of “TPMP”, Cyril Hanouna and his team will debrief the controversy. And everything is prepared!
In an SMS exchange, we can read: “On Arthur, Cyril wants us to say that”. It should be remembered in particular that “Cyril is very friendly with Arthur’s friends (Gad Elmaleh, etc.)”, that the C8 star started as an intern at Arthur… Elements of language rendered almost verbatim on set by the recipients of these SMS, Bernard Montiel or even Guillaume Genton.
Contacted by “Complement d’investigation”, Cyril Hanouna’s lawyer ensures that all the columnists are free in their comments.
