She is already one of the favorite teachers of fans of the Star Academy. Adeline Toniutti is passionate about her way of giving advice and helping candidates for tele-hook TF1 to improve. Yet she might well have never stood in front of her students. Not because the production hesitated between her and another teacher, but quite simply because she almost never found her voice.
This is what she let understand during an interview with our colleagues from TV 7 days. At first, the one who claims to be a big fan of Armande Altaï, the show’s first singing teacher, explained how she was going to proceed to help the candidates of the StarAc‘ to improve.
Gregory Lemarchal gave him hope
“Opera teaches seriousness, diligence, tenacity and… punctuality! A recital is 8 p.m., not 8:30 p.m.! Music requires a form of daily sacrifice”she explained at first to make it clear how important attendance was in singing, before mentioning her accident, when she had her respiratory tract burned due to a chimney fire: “Regarding my accident, he taught me that you have to live in the present moment and that nothing is ever lost. So I will teach them in turn to fight. My mantra is ” The show must go on”, the show goes on no matter what”.
Our colleagues, curious to know how she had managed to keep faith despite this accident, asked her what had enabled her to move forward. Adeline Toniutti taking the opportunity to mention the name of Grégory Lemarchal.“At the time, I lost her (her faith: editor’s note). I really wondered why this was happening to me, that nothing worse could happen. I couldn’t speak anymore”she admits before continuing: “The only thing left for me was to listen to music, Freddy Mercury, Grégory Lemarchal, artists who gave me the strength to stay alive”.
