How else can Mali’s attitude be explained (“When the South says no to the North”, The duty, April 6) regarding the decision of several “Southern countries” to refuse to join the North in its condemnation of the Russian invasion of Ukraine? I am tempted, for my part, to ask the following question: how much are the current investments (among other things for their infrastructures) in these countries of the South, without necessarily targeting Mali in particular, which come from China or the Russia? Without knowing the precise answer to this question, I tend to think that the adage ” Money Talks » is not completely wrong!
