“How can you claim to be a feminist and a twerker?” In the middle of a show, Inès Reg pins Beyoncé!

She has always claimed it and sought to prove it since the beginning of her career. Beyoncé is a feminist and keeps shouting it everywhere she goes when she gets the chance. Through her titles, Queen B has already proven it. Indeed, in 2011, she released her famous title “Run the world (girls)” with a passage for the less explicit: “who street the world? Girls!”which can be translated as “Who rules the world? Women”.

Later, on a new album, Jay-Z’s companion included the speech of an icon of feminism Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. It’s in his song, “Flawless” that we can listen to passages of the speech in which we find sentences such as “Why are girls taught to aspire to marriage and not the same for boys?”. In short, Beyoncé claims to be a feminist but some detractors doubt it. The reason ? Her outfits are sometimes considered too short when she performs on stage. However, as our colleagues from ELLE, “one of the main concerns of feminists is the misuse of women’s bodies for commercial purposes”.

Inès Reg attacks Beyoncé … with humor

And precisely Inès Reg was able to have fun with this “contradiction” during her last show. The 30-year-old comedian performed at the Accor Arena in Paris this Saturday, June 17. Our colleagues from Parisian were able to attend the 3:30 show. During her show, the one who made herself known thanks to her companion Kevin and her famous glitter, rightly put stars in the eyes of her fans, as well as a few tears… appeared in their eyes thanks to the hilarious sketches of the artist.

Our colleagues note that no subject seems taboo for her: “neither MeToo, nor his Algerian origins, nor even Beyoncé!”. Indeed, during her show, she had fun quoting Queen B: “How can you claim to be a feminist and twerker?”, she wondered with a lot of humor. Before making a fun comparison: “It’s like I’m doing a diet ad with an Oreo microphone”. Let’s hope Beyoncé doesn’t hold it against her and realizes it was just humor.
