Real estate is slowing down in this first half of 2023, and prices are falling. However, this is not the case for homes on the coast, which are seeing their prices soar. The point with Maéva Damoy, on the set of 12/13.
Real estate on the coast still has the coast, unlike the rest of France, where prices are down 0.4%. In two years, prices have increased by 12.8%. “The highest prices concern the coast of the Provence region–ATlps–VStake offATzurTo 6 071 euros per square meter, up 5.2% in one year. In the ranking of the most vsheres : Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat is in the lead with 16 955 euros per square meter, in front of Ramatuelle, To 15 668 euros per square meter, and finally Saint Tropez, 14 219 euros per square meter”says Maéva Damoy.
Drops on the Atlantic coast
The trend on the coasts is not the same everywhere. “On the Atlantic coast, the second more expensive in France, prices are rising but less than elsewhere. There are even price reductions, as in Biarritz or for Lacanau. Same downward trend in Brittany“, concludes the journalist.
