In Sainte-Foy-la-Grande (Gironde), the municipality has put up for sale housing in which some work is to be done. The goal is to see new inhabitants settle there.
Coming home in the countryside with an hour by train after working in a big city. More and more employees are choosing this way of life. In Sainte-Foy-la-Grande (Gironde)the municipality is capitalizing on this emerging hope among many French people. Thereby, 80 homes were put up for auction in order to attract a new audience. Need more comfort and a garden or just a parking space without having to pay, the objectives are numerous for potential buyers.
If the visits have been conclusive, buyers have until July 26 to submit an offer, knowing that only the highest bidders will have the chance to have their property. However, in addition to the purchase price, it will be necessary to count on the significant amount of work to be done and the price could quickly turn out to be high. However, be careful, because the opportunities to buy a home less than an hour from the big cities will become increasingly rare. The municipality hopes to attract more than 300 new inhabitants.
