In the Gaza Strip, a bakery was able to reopen its doors thanks to deliveries of flour from the UN World Food Program, but there will not be enough for everyone. Famine and poverty are increasing every day in Gaza.
An endless line. In the Gaza Strip, you have to wait for hours to get a piece of bread. A bakery has just reopened its doors, after months of closure. But getting a loaf of bread there is an obstacle course. “I waited six hours for bread. It is an extremely difficult struggle. It is unfair to only have one bakery to feed all of Gaza.”deplores a resident.
UN calls for safe and constant access to Gaza

But the supplies will only last a few days, and there won’t be enough for everyone. In Gaza, famine and poverty are growing a little more every day, and the few airdrops of food that allow Gazans to survive change nothing. The UN is now calling for safe and constant access to Palestinian territory, to avoid a humanitarian catastrophe.
