This Saturday, November 6, 2021 is broadcast the second anniversary bonus of the star Academy. The emblematic TF1 show is celebrating its 20 years, so obviously Nikos Aliagas and his teams have decided to go back to their memories. After a first moving episode with Jenifer and Jean-Pascal Lacoste in particular, it was former candidates of season 2 who offered the public a great reunion, namely the winner Nolwenn Leroy, Emma Daumas, Fabien, Rudy, Anne Laure and Houcine. The latter also had the right to a nice surprise during the evening.
Indeed, the singer who arrived in the final in 2002 had the opportunity to review very touching images taken from a particular bonus. As he performed the title live Learn to love by Florent Pagny, his eldest son Lenny, still a baby, had joined him on stage. By discovering him in his grandpa’s arms, Houcine could not then hold back his tears. The emotion is just as palpable 19 years later when we see these images again. “He had just celebrated his 1 year old when you surprised me“, Houcine remembered with shining eyes.
And since then, Lenny has certainly grown up! Now 20 years old, he has become a tall young man who can be guessed very charming despite his mask as viewers have seen since he was in the audience. (See our slideshow).
In his portrait of the time, Houcine already evoked with great emotion this son he had with a former companion. “When I’m with my son, it’s my secret garden. And when he’s no longer there, I have to wear a mask. When I open the curtain I’m outside with the people“, he said. Houcine has since had another boy named Chad who is 9 years old.
