Despite the 11 candidates running, the fight is particularly tight between the Quebec Liberal Party and Quebec Solidaire.

This riding has been Liberal for more than 30 years.

Voters have two options, according to Québec Solidaire spokesperson Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois, “status quo or change,” he said.

The housing crisis is at the heart of the party’s concerns, assured Guillaume Cliche-Rivard, the solidarity candidate.
