While “home-jackings” are becoming sadly frequent for public figures, this time it is not a star who has just been the victim, but the neighbor of actress Tori Spelling. This Thursday, October 19, 2023, our American colleagues from the magazine PEOPLE
in fact reveal that the latter and her entire family were evacuated following a hostage-taking in a house located very close to her home.
Information confirmed by the Los Angeles Police Department during the morning which immediately indicates that a man responsible for the hostage-taking would have threatened to shoot law enforcement with a rifle during the confrontation.
Negotiations that took place while “Tori Spelling was allegedly seen” outside her home alongside several of his neighbors “behind a yellow ribbon” (surely placed by the police), making phone calls.

A difficult time
As a reminder, this unfortunate event occurs as the active woman separates from her husband Dean McDermott after 18 years of marriage! The father of the Beverly Hills 90210 star’s five children announced via his Instagram account that his love affair with Tour Spelling was now a thing of the past: “It is with great sadness, and a very, very heavy heart, that after 18 years together and five incredible children, Tori and I have decided to take different paths and start a new chapter, each on our own. We will continue to work together, as parents, as guides and with great love for our children in these difficult times. We ask that you respect our privacy. We take our time, surround ourselves with our family, with love, and let’s find a way to get through this together. Thank you for your support and kindness,” he wrote.
A few days later, on August 20, 2023, the mother took to her social networks to let people know that she was hospitalized: “Fourth day here and I miss my kids so much”wrote the 50-year-old actress who did not wish to say more about her stay in hospital…
