War between Israel and Hamas: families of hostages ask for help from France – (France info)

Around ten families of Franco-Israeli hostages, who have been living in anguish for three weeks, are currently in Paris. They ask for help from France to obtain the release of their loved ones.

In their hands, the families of Franco-Israeli hostages present in Paris hold the portrait of their loved ones detained by Hamas in Gaza. They were welcomed on Tuesday October 31 at the Hôtel de la Questure at the National Assembly. These families of Franco-Israeli hostages all have the same objective: to ask for help to free their loved ones.

Families received at Paris town hall

“It has been three weeks and two days since we have heard from our loved ones. We need help from people like the Red Cross or other humanitarian associations, who can enter Gaza and give us information on our families”said a member of one of these families. “We need the international community to put pressure on my grandmother and brother to come home”added another. “Qatar can definitely help. The hostages must be released”, for his part affirmed Meyer Habib, Les Républicains (LR) deputy for French people abroad. Families were also received at Paris town hall.
