Host Sébastien Cauet targeted by fourth complaint for “sexual assault”

The complainant, aged 44, denounces events which, according to her, occurred during the summer of 1997.

Host Sébastien Cauet faces a fourth complaint for sexual assault, franceinfo learned from the complainant’s lawyer on Friday, December 15, confirming information revealed by Le Parisian And The Obs. Mathilde T., a young girl of 18 at the time, says she was sexually assaulted in 1997 by Sébastien Cauet, who was a presenter on the Skyrock radio station, after the recording of a show she had come to attend.

“We took the elevator and went down to the parking lot, his car was a large black or dark blue sedan, leather interior”she tells The Obs. Once in the passenger compartment of the vehicle, Sébastien Cauet allegedly “took his penis out of his pants” and asked Mathilde T. for fellatio. “I don’t know how, but I refused, he put his penis back in his pants and we left”, continues the complainant, now 44 years old. These facts, if proven, are prescribed, the time limit in this matter was six years.

Cauet “reaffirms his total innocence”

After the filing of a first complaint for “rape and sexual assault” on November 18, two other complaints were filed for the same reason against the host. The latter, aged 51, temporarily withdrawn from the NRJ antenna since November 22, is now the target of complaints filed by four different women.

Before the announcement of this new complaint on Friday, Sébastien Cauet’s lawyers recalled that their client “reaffirms his total innocence of the facts of which he is accused and will continue to fight tirelessly to ensure that the truth of the facts is established”. The host filed a complaint for “attempted extortion by an organized gang, slanderous denunciation, and forgery and uses against unnamed persons”. A complaint which is added to that for “slanderous denunciation” filed after the accusations of the first complainant.
