It is a first signing of a logical contract. Full-back/winger Aaron Grandidier-Nkanang continues the adventure at CA Brive. He signs his first professional contract with the Corrèze club and remains linked to the club until 2024.
Arrived in 2019 within the CAB, Aaron Grandidier first imposed himself by his burst of speed and his technical qualities in the back lines of the Espoirs, beforeintegrating training with the first team. “Aaron is a raw talent. When he arrived at the club, we were able to quickly measure his full potential but also the work he still had to do to become a professional player” also believes Sébastien Bonnet, sports director of the training center.
“We think he can bring us a lot in the future. It’s up to him to work with the club and France VII to achieve the ambitious goals he has set for himself” – Xavier Ric, general manager of CAB
He has already played two Challenge Cup games last season against Leicester and the Zebres of Parma, for a total of 65 minutes.
An exceptional course in VII
But it was with France VII that the young Franco-English winger won. He is thus carrying out a double project with CA Brive. This implies that he will still join this French sevens rugby team next year, as part of the World Rugby Sevens circuit, but also the 2024 Olympic Games. 2024 is also the year of the end of his contract with CA Brive, which he initialed this week.
In a press release, the CAB nevertheless specifies that the player “will remain available to CA Brive and the first team according to a schedule previously defined in the off-season”.
