Home where Adele music video was filmed is sold





The Domaine Dumont Chapelle St-Agnès vineyard, setting of the music video Easy on Me of Adele, directed by Xavier Dolan, has been sold. The listed price was 5.5 million.

Purchased in December 2020 by spouses Benoît Dumont and Louise Laporte, the vast 173-acre estate was up for sale again. Located in Sutton, in the Eastern Townships, the property has six buildings, including a castle and a chapel.

This is where singer Adele chose to shoot the music video for the play Easy on Mefrom his album 30, released last November. The filmmaker Xavier Dolan collaborated for the second time with the musician for a clip, after the shooting of Hello in 2015. The music video forEasy on Me has been viewed more than 225 million times since its release in mid-October.

The Eastern Townships property, which attracted a lot of attention after the passage of the British star, was built in 1846 and has been renovated many times since. The site has more than 7,000 vines and could accommodate a maple grove.
