Home-made solid deodorant recipe

Celine was fed up with using products whose ingredient lists were so illegible that even with good eyes, it was difficult to identify them all. So like her grandmother, she embarked on her “P’Tite Tambouille”. The site was born.

She gives us her recipe for making our solid deodorant:

  • 10GR of shea butter,
  • 14GR beeswax,
  • 25ml calendula macerate,
  • 20 drops of Palmarosa Essential Oil,
  • 5 drops of vitamin E (preservative).

Method:

1- Start by melting the shea butter, wax + macerate in a bain-marie. Mix from time to time.

2- Once the 3 ingredients are completely melted, take the bowl out of the heat.

3- Add the EO, mix then add the preservative, mix again.

4- Quickly pour the preparation into your mold and let cool for about 15 minutes in the freezer.

5- Once the preparation has set, it becomes solid: your deodorant is ready to be used!

To be used directly on the armpits as a stick. You can leave it on a soap dish or in a metal box or in its original mold.

Storage: 6 months away from heat and light.
