The 96th Academy Awards ceremony takes place in Los Angeles on Sunday March 10. French director Justine Triet is nominated in five categories for her film “Anatomy of a Fall”.

A few hours before the Oscars ceremony, the city of Los Angeles (United States) which is hosting the event is in turmoil. Employees are working on finishing the last details by dusting, for example, a giant replica of the statuettes distributed to the winners of the different categories. With their guide, a group of French people came to explore the legendary places of the cinema capital.

Paparazzi in the starting blocks

On Hollywood Boulevard, even the most innocuous buildings may have served as settings for cult films. The city’s paparazzi are on all fronts, not hesitating to glean information from the staff of certain hotels. While driving his car, one of them is attracted by a crowd which can be explained by the presence of Sandra Hüller, nominated in the best actress category for her role in Justine Triet’s film, Anatomy of a fall. The director of the film nominated in five categories is looking for a little peace and quiet before the ceremony.
