A 16-year-old boy is in serious condition after a road accident on the D42, in Belleville-et-Châtillon-sur-bar, near Vouziers in the Ardennes. For some unknown reason, a van veered into the opposite lane, on a bend, and hit the young man’s mopedwho could not avoid it.
Helicoptered to the CHU of Reims
Polytraumatized, the victim was helicoptered to the Reims University Hospital in absolute urgency. The 32-year-old driver of the van was heard for the first time by gendarmerie investigators. He should be auditioned again in the coming days.
