A serious accident occurred in Maryland, United States, where a container ship hit the Baltimore Bridge on the night of Monday March 25. Around twenty people fell into the water.
The bridge collapsed in a few seconds, during the night of Monday March 25 to Tuesday March 26. Hit by a container ship, the 350 meter high building did not withstand the impact. Located on the outskirts of Baltimore, Maryland (United States), the Francis Scott Key Bridge, three kilometers long, connected two parts of the city. Built almost 50 years ago, it was very busy. According to the authorities, around twenty people fell with their vehicle into water only nine degrees.

The county director indicated, on the morning of Tuesday March 26, that emergency services were still on site. “Rescues are underway. Pray for those affected”, declared the latter, Johnny Olszewski, on the social network X (formerly Twitter). According to the US Coast Guard, the ship that hit the bridge is believed to be a cargo boat measuring more than 300 meters long, flying the flag of Singapore.
