Hit and run in Montreal: they demolish their luxury Range Rover and flee on foot

Two suspects are being sought by police after driving into several vehicles and running away on Wednesday afternoon in the Ville-Marie district of Montreal.

The incident occurred around noon, on rue D’Iberville, at the intersection of rue Logan.

For reasons still unknown, the driver of a luxury black Range Rover allegedly drove into several vehicles, some of which were parked on the side of the street.

According to authorities, one person suffered injuries, including broken bones, but their life is not believed to be in danger.

Under the force of the impact, one of the hit cars was propelled onto the grounds of an apartment building.

After the series of collisions, the two suspects in the Range Rover ran away and police were still searching for them as of mid-afternoon.

Authorities have not revealed whether or not the luxury vehicle was reported stolen.

A portion of rue D’Iberville was temporarily closed for investigation purposes.
