Hit and run in Brossard | The vehicle involved seized by the police

The vehicle involved in a hit-and-run that caused the death of a woman Friday morning in Brossard has been seized, announced the Service de police de la agglomeration de Longueuil (SPAL).

The black four-door Chevrolet Silverado was located in the Greenfield Park sector on the territory of the Longueuil agglomeration, the SPAL announced on Saturday morning.

“The vehicle was seized so that expertise could be carried out on it,” said the police force, which did not announce any arrests in this case.

A 25-year-old woman was fatally grabbed around 4:20 a.m. Friday morning at the intersection of boulevard de Rome and rue Lautrec in Brossard, an area deemed problematic by residents.

The suspect then fled.

Anyone with relevant information related to this case is urged to call 911 as soon as possible. It is also possible to report information by going directly to a local neighborhood police station.
