The former leader of the Parti Québécois considers that “the balance” has been established since the start of the campaign. “We did not give him the floor and in the comments, each time we saw him [Paul St-Pierre Plamondon]it was to say that things were not going well rather than to report his words or what he wanted to talk about, ”lamented Pauline Marois on the sidelines of a militant brunch “Women and politics” on Sunday.
Mme Marois was invited to speak at a café on rue Hochelaga, in eastern Montreal, to mark the tenth anniversary of her election in September 2012. An election that was marked by the political attack that aimed at it, at the Metropolis, and which caused one death and one injury. The former Prime Minister has given a series of media interviews on this subject.
Faced with polls that today place her training in a historic low, she responds on the contrary that her party is showing signs of “good health” while the PQ has recruited “young women” with “impressive track records”.
It gives me hope. It’s not a moribund party that will seek support like that, the party is renewing itself.

She did not want to make predictions for next October 3 while the Parti Québécois fights for its survival. “I hope it has elected deputies from the Parti Québécois,” she briefly indicated. When the House was dissolved, the Parti Québécois had seven members.
“You are doing an excellent campaign! »
During his speech, Mr.me Marois spoke directly to the leader of the Parti Québécois: “I think you are doing an excellent campaign,” she said to loud applause. “We have seen that he is keeping the focus on the essentials, on the objective: our independence, our sovereignty. He also makes responsible proposals, ”she continued in front of several female recruits.
Since the beginning of the campaign, Paul St-Pierre Plamondon has relied on the fundamentals of the party, such as the French language and independence, to reinvigorate the sovereigntist troops.
“I think we shed more light on what he was in the last few days, it allowed us to discover his personality [de montrer] that he had clear ideas that he was able to state them, to put them forward. For me, this is a very positive sign, ”she said in a press scrum.
When your voice is not heard, even if you say intelligent things, nobody can hear them and I find that since the beginning of the campaign, it has been restored as a balance
