Some are probably wondering what is the link between Jean Reno and the couple of US stars. The French actor is not at all the same age with the singer who fills the Stade de France at the speed of light, or his companion who has made a career in rap. In reality, their relationship is much closer than one would have thought. It was Jean Reno himself who revealed it during an interview for the magazine Fricote in 2012. Interview in which he played the roles of Léon, Godefroy de Montmirail in “Visitors”or Charly Matteï in “The Immortal”revealed that he loved “eat a pizza at Jay-Z” when he goes to New York.

A “passion” that is not given to everyone. However, Jean Reno and Jay-Z would indeed be close and for good reason, the son of the first is none other than the godson of the companion of Beyoncé. It is Dean, born in New York on September 8, 2011, who is lucky enough to have Queen B’s companion as his godfather. But what is the link between the two families? Jean Reno also revealed it during the same interview as was able to relay it Paris here : “He is a childhood friend of my wife and the godfather of my son”he revealed at the time before praising the American artist: “This guy is a genius, he’s a real one. A man of the street, a pure New Yorker, a little Mozart! Everything he touches turns to gold. There he has just written a song for his Girl, to die for. He’s a billionaire but you see a normal guy in front of you”. Dean can therefore boast of having one of the greatest French actors for his father, and one of the greatest American artists for his godfather!
