his wife Pascale Louange slaps his daughter Coline in the middle of a trial

In January 2020, actor Richard Berry found himself at the heart of a huge scandal when his daughter Coline Berry filed a complaint for rape and sexual assault. Through a poignant testimony, the mother of the family had detailed the sordid sexual games that her father subjected her to throughout her childhood. If the famous actor quickly denied these accusations, his former companion, Jeane Manson, accused by Coline of having participated in the attacks, also assured that he had nothing to approach and filed a complaint for defamation.

We have to stop these lies. I can’t live with these doubts that people may have about me. I am a person of great integrity, always have been. I never had any suspicions, never. And I think I’m smart enough to know. If I had seen something inappropriate, I would have reported it immediately” said the American singer to BFMTV, a few hours before the trial.

A tense trial
Jeane Manson and Richard Berry were therefore present in the court of Aurillac, this Friday, April 1, for the opening of the trial. “Everything is false. They are unfortunately lies and she, I think, ended up believing them. It’s heartbreaking for a father. I have no attraction for children. I am deeply, frankly, desperate” said Richard Berry who was heard as a witness. Coline Berry reiterated the accusations against her father and former stepmother: “These are images that remain forever […] Filthy, abject images”.

Coline Berry slapped in the middle of the trial
At the trial, Richard Berry was accompanied by his wife, Pascale Louange. As AFP reports, at the end of the session, the latter rose from her seat to slap Coline Berry who, according to her, has been lying for years. “Violence has no place in this place.”recalled Maître Karine Shebabo, Coline Berry’s lawyer. “Insults are violence” then retorted Pascale Louange. “In twenty years at the bar, I have never seen this. This is the difficulty of the victims of incest in denouncing the facts: we have to knock to silence them” declared Karine Shebabo at the end of the hearing.
