After a strong appearance on the set of “C à vous”, Franck Dubosc has just granted an interview to Legend, the 100% digital media of host Guillaume Pley. Lending himself to the game of anecdotes, the actor remembered this time when he had a “huge flop”. “I did the Caesars once, I was terribly nervous and then I stayed backstage, I had a good little glass of wine and then George Clooney arrived to prepare an entrance on stage. and he came to see me” he recalled.
In February 2017, George Clooney was indeed the guest of honor at the 42nd Cesar ceremony which was held at the Salle Pleyel in Paris. As always, the famous American actor had come to the arm of his wife, lawyer Amal Alamuddin. That year, Franck Dubosc presented his film “Rumba la vie”, a comedy with Louna Espinosa and Jean-Pierre Darroussin.
“So there I find myself with my glass and him with his glass of wine next to it, he starts to hold my bunch and there we talk and I only have one desire, I say to myself ‘there is no one who can film me talking with George Clooney?’ And there we are talking, I swear to you, and there I say that my wife is Lebanese like him. And there we are talking about families, we are on the verge of exchanging the 06 !” says Franck Dubosc who also had a photo of their meeting on Instagram, facing a Guillaume Pley who drinks his words.

“After there was dinner so I still can’t come in, there’s the César dinner, everyone is looking for their seats, I’m waiting, I don’t know where I’m going to sit and suddenly I spot a place and hop next to cushy! I find myself next to his wife Amal! So my wife said to me: ‘why didn’t you tell me to come, there we could have exchanged the 06 between Lebanese women!’ .
As a reminder, Franck Dubosc has been married since 2009 to Danièle, a young woman 10 years her junior, originally from Lebanon. It was in 2006 that the two lovebirds met, when Franck Dubosc had just separated from producer Sabrina Dufay. After their marriage, Franck and Danièle Dubosc became the happy parents of Raphaël born in January 2010 and Milhan born in October 2012.
