According to the article written by Ivanne Trippenbach and François Krug, one could read: “In addition to Marine Le Pen’s niece – to whom he devotes many numbers – his close friends include the singer Vianney, the humorist Gaspard Proust, with whom he goes on vacation in his chalet in the Alps, or the writer with accents reactionaries Michel Houellebecq”. These few words pissed Vianney off.
Indeed, the coach of “The Voice” wished to restore the truth or rather clarify the situation concerning his relationship with Geoffroy Lejeune. “But what? In this job where I rub shoulders with all of Paris, I have been able to speak with people from all walks of life, from President Hollande to President Sarkozy, via President Macron”he wrote to prove that he associates with people from all political backgrounds before continuing: “From Christophe Conte to Geoffroy Lejeune, passing by Bruce Toussaint. These people are all different, all interesting, apparently sensitive to my passion: music. But to say that we are ‘very friends’ is going a little too far”. “Please keep me out of your stories. I make songs to help people forget the divisive issues I’ve never gotten involved in,” finally concluded the singer.
