This Saturday, December 17, 2022, Indira Ampiot, Miss Guadeloupe, was elected Miss France in front of 14 million viewers who closely followed the ceremony of her coronation. After a few photo shoots and after a few messages of support addressed to the French team, the 18-year-old beauty queen did not fail to share her desires as a Miss: “I would already like to highlight the cause close to my heart: helping women with cancer regain their self-confidence. It’s important that they discover that I have something to defend. I also want them to see my funny side. We have always the image of the strict Miss. We have to break the codes, show that we are natural, human and like everyone else.” she said in an interview with Télé Star.
And if the young woman is the pride of her parents, she is also that of her uncle, Frédéric Tejou Joyeux, who had also launched a joyful challenge: “If my niece is elected Miss France 2023, I go around BAILLIF while running in boxing” he had warned. The goalkeeper of La Gauloise, the Guadeloupe national football team, kept his word and shared the images on Facebook. A video where we can see him running, in red boxers and sports shoes, in the streets of Baillif, at night, visibly very proud.

He then concluded the whole thing with an adorable message intended for his niece: “To you my Didi, uncle is happy and proud. I remember you at 6 months in my arms with a slight brain of hair on your head. And today “Today, you are in my arms because you have become the most beautiful woman in France.
