This Friday, December 3, 2021, Jean-Baptiste Guégan was invited on the set of “Touche pas à mon poste” to ensure the promotion of his autobiographical book entitled “Staying the same” and which will be on sale from December 9th. A book in which the former winner of “France has an incredible talent” confides on his career and his dazzling success.
Valérie Benaïm who presented the program that evening, returned to the first time Jean-Baptiste Guégan saw a Johnny Hallyday concert at the age of 9 and that he believed he saw God: “It was my Messiah to me. You know when I go on stage, there is not a single second when I do not think of Johnny Hallyday. He is part of my life, of my daily life” explains the singer who now sees the rocker as his “spiritual father”.
“He’s an adopted dad, although I’ve never met him” writes Jean-Baptiste Guégan in his book. “He’s the one who helped me the most. I clung to his songs, to his way of being and he’s my mentor.” he adds on the set.

“I suffered touching me, things at school, I talk about it in my book by the way. You have to talk about it, that’s all. You have to say it” then affirms Johnny’s vocal double Hallyday. What Bernard Montiel rebounded from by saying: “Yes he mentioned the harassment but it should be specified that it is the sexual harassment that you experienced, that you tell in your book, with your masseur …”.
