But while the evening was in full swing, an irruption caused a wave of panic: three activists from the animal rights association PETA showed up to protest Victoria Beckham’s use of animal skins. Their t-shirts included slogans such as “Animals are not fabric” And “Turn your back on animal skins”. They remained on the stage for a few seconds, to be exfiltrated by security men.
On X, the PETA France association welcomed the action carried out by their three activists, and condemned the use of animal skins carried out by David Beckham’s wife: “Long live vegan leather. Three PETA activists stormed Victoria Beckham’s show during Paris Fashion Week. No piece of clothing is worth the slaughter and dismemberment of a sentient animal.
