his replacement makes an astonishing statement

A return to the small screen that viewers of the first channel are impatiently awaiting. A year after the triumph of the last season after fifteen years of absence, star Academy returns to TF1… And one thing is certain, this edition which starts on Saturday November 4, 2023 already promises to be grandiose!

As proof, the duration of the program doubles with not six but twelve weeks of competition on the air! A period during which Nikos Aliagas will take over the reins of telecrochet accompanied by Karima Charni.

As for the teaching staff, while the much appreciated Michael Goldman will regain his director’s hat, Adeline Toniutti, Pierre de Brauer, Marlène Schaff, Lucie Bernardoni and Caoch Joe will return for a new season while Cécile Chaduteau and Malika Benjelloun will respectively replace Laure Balon and Yanis Marshall who leaves the adventure for this twelfth season.

Malika Benjelloun speaks

Guest on the airwaves of South Radio this Friday November 3, 2023, Malika Benjelloun said more about her role as a dance teacher. While Gilles Ganzman pointed out to her that unlike Yanis Marshall, she was not going to take care of the choreography of professional dancers during the bonuses, the latter indicated that she was going to be assisted by a third person during this season .

“I’ve been doing this job for 25 years. When I’m a choreographer, it’s a well-defined job, when I’m a teacher, it’s a different hat. This year, we’re going to have a co-choreographer who will “assist in making the scenes behind the candidates with the professional dancers. I have always been a choreographer on the shows and I love this because I will be able to delegate”, she confided.

As a reminder, during the 2022 season, Yanis Marshall took on the dual role of dance teacher and choreographer. Two functions which explained the reason why Ellen Pompeo’s BFF had received a larger salary than his colleagues (around 50,000 euros).
