his rant in “TPMP”

It’s the surprise of the week. The emblematic presenter of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire ?” or even miss FranceJean-Pierre Foucault
will make his big comeback on the radio.

Indeed, Jean-Pierre Foucault, will host the Culture Médias d’Europe 1 program for a weekreplacing Thomas Isle during his leave from April 15 to 19.

It was the station itself that made him this proposal, as he explained in an interview with Le Parisien. “I was a guest on the Thomas Isle show last December to talk about the election of Miss France. During the interview, he asked me if I missed radio, and I told him: Yes, a little. And clearly, it didn’t fall on deaf ears. Europe 1 called me back a month and a half ago, saying: ‘If you miss that, Thomas is going on vacation in April, if you want to replace him for five days, that would be great.‘I found it super funny, and I said yes!’

“It’s not radio anymore”

If the television and radio man is delighted to get back behind the microphone for a few days, Jean-Pierre Foucault, with the frankness we know him for, did not hesitate to say what was bothering him today on the radio.

In Don’t Touch My Post
on C8, he says: “It’s a blast for me because I love live, I do, we are (with Cyril Hanounaeditor’s note) the only two to do live television, me with Miss France once a yearand you here every evening with TPMP so it’s a blast for me and I’m very happy to find this atmosphere again” before nevertheless adding: “There’s a little problem that annoys me a little about today’s radio, it’s that it’s filmed, and filmed radio, for me, is no longer radio because you can be caught by the crooked tie and you don’t listen while the power of words the power of silence” he lamented.

Jean-Pierre Foucault, however, clarified to Cyril Hanouna and his columnists that he was not going to return to radio permanently, he will leave at the end of next week, at his home in the south of France.
