There are no longer three, but four in the weather: this summer, TF1 viewers were surprised in their habits and discovered Angel Noiret, a young 33-year-old meteorologist who came to replace Louis Bodin, Tatiana Silva and Evelyne Dhéliat at short notice, all three of whom had gone on vacation. The young man had already appeared last summer on the channel, but had not created as much of an event. Quickly becoming the darling of the channel’s viewers, he finally made his return in recent weeks, and is now the designated joker of the three holders in the weather. He is appearing again this weekend on the TF1 weather bulletins, to the delight of those who have followed him since his debut on LCI eleven years ago.
Indeed, although 33 years old, Ange Noiret has been working within the TF1 group for eleven years already! As he confided to Ciné Télé Revue this Sunday, October 8, 2023 in a portrait dedicated to him, the young man was not always passionate about meteorology… Nay! In reality, Ange Noiret, passionate about sports, wanted to become a helicopter pilot and had passed all the exams to join the army. Problem: the final examination was fatal to him, since suffering from myopia, the young man at the time was turned away. It is necessary that if today, the rules have relaxed a little and people suffering from strabismus, myopia or hyperopia can compete, at the time, this was not the case at all!
“I was rejected because of my myopia… The army then sent me to the school of meteorology in Toulouse, the European center in this field, and there, it was a revelation, to see the planet in real time. I worked like never before.” A blessing in disguise for Ange Noiret’s little protégé, who doesn’t care about good reviews which appear on social networks, and which he prefers not to read: “I’m happy to see that people are welcoming me with so much positivity and that my way of presenting the weather is more popular than my costumes. But that doesn’t change who I am“.
