his project in Lourdes with “Bernadette Soubirous” which challenges!

It is a colossal project in which Gad Elmaleh has embarked. Rather accustomed to the scene, it is however this time the cap of producer that the actor has put on. Indeed, he launched the daring bet to participate in the staging of the show “Bernadette de Lourdes”. This musical tells the story of the life of Bernadette Soubirous. It is thanks to the official historical accounts that the directors and producers were able to reconstruct the adventures of the woman who claims to have seen the Virgin in 1858. For this extraordinary spectacle, a talented team gathered around the table. From the music of Grégoire, to the words of Lionel Florence and Patrice Guirao, everything is done to make this project a real success. Proud of the work of his team members, Gad Elmaleh wanted to share a touching message to his fans on the Webthis Tuesday, April 5.

“I am so proud to be part of the production team of this incredible adventure”writes Gad Elmaleh on his Instagram account. “A moving universal story. Artists of great talent who have fought every second for more than two and a half years to bring this project back to life”, says the co-producer. If the French star says to be “FAN of this show”he seems to be eager to present this new version to the public. “Premiere on April 11 in Lourdes and on tour all over the world”, can we read in the caption of his message. The appointment is given.

The troupe went through many hardships and experienced intense moments to bring this show to life. Several members of the musical traveled to the Vatican in November 2019 to meet the pope. A precious and above all privileged moment for the show team since only about fifty privileged guests can participate in the weekly general audience of Pope Francis. The singer Eyma, who embodies the young Bernadette Soubirous, was able to exchange a few words with the sovereign pontiff. “Here is our record, our songs. If you come to Lourdes, come and see our show.” Since then, the show has been a great success, which the troupe for the 2022 season hopes to continue for the next few months.
