Yes TF1 offered a new season of Koh Lanta, France 2 replied with an episode of Our unknown lands. A program that was born in 2018 with Frédéric Lopez at its head. A program, derived from Meeting in unknown landwhere the host takes a celebrity on a trip to a sparsely populated region of France.
During the first episode, comedian Malik Bentalha was chosen to go to the Cévennes. In September 2018, change of presenter and it was finally Raphaël de Casabianca who took over. The latter accompanied several other personalities, namely, Ahmed Sylla, Amir, or even this Tuesday, February 22, the singer Barbara Pravi discovered by the general public during the contest of theEurovision 2021 during which, she came second. The duo went to Haute-Corse where the father of the 41-year-old globetrotter is from.
Among the millions of viewers who watched this sixth episode was Frédéric Lopez. The 54-year-old gave an opinion on his predecessor. “He is a brave person… Today, the audiences are good and everyone says that the succession is successful, but that was not necessarily the case at the beginning. He heard everything! He passed all these stages, in a very healthy and very calm way, trusting in time”, he recognized in our colleagues from Tele-Leisure before talking more about the personality of the one he considers a “friend”.
“We laugh a lot with him. In real life, when something great happens to him, he starts tap dancing (…) He has this thing that you can’t learn, you want to be friends with him. I’m lucky to be with him (…) he also has this ‘roots’ and courageous side that I don’t have! He’s a badass. For example, he bathes in cold water, as he did with Barbara Pravi and Amir. And I can tell you that with Raphaël, he has to get out of his comfort zone.”
