Evaëlle’s parents are determined to obtain justice for their daughter. The 11-year-old schoolgirl committed suicide five years ago, after being the victim of school bullying, in which a teacher allegedly participated.

Evaëlle Dupuis was only 11 years old when she ended her life in 2019. Her French teacher and two other classmates are accused of having harassed her for several months. A sixth-grade student in a college in Val-d’Oise, Evaëlle was allegedly insulted and assaulted by her classmates. According to the Pontoise prosecutor, his teacher would have fueled this hatred. For the young girl’s parents, the teacher’s responsibility is beyond doubt.

A potential lawsuit

She allegedly asked Evaëlle to explain why she felt harassed in front of her entire class. “She was booed, mocked, mocked. She was crying. The teacher asked her to stop crying to answer the questions.relates Marie Dupuis, the victim’s mother.

The latter wants “to fight” so that her daughter is recognized as a victim of harassment. The professor, who has no longer had the right to teach since 2020, contested the accusations. Now, an investigating judge must decide whether to hold a trial against two former students and the teacher.
