Discreet since her separation from Marc Lavoine, Line Papin returns to the forefront of the literary scene. On the occasion of the release of her latest book entitled “Premier amour” (Editions Stock), the 27-year-old author gave several interviews to the press. Indeed, after confiding in Paris Match on April 27 during an interview where she returned to her breakup and the “journey” of her romantic mourning “explored over a year”, the latter spoke on the airwaves ofEuropean 1 this Monday, May 1, 2023.
Invited to the radio program “Culture Médias”, the writer was asked to comment on this passage from her book: “ I lost all the material when I left my life as a wife. I have lost the gifts from the wife, those that a husband gives to his wife. I lost the comfort of the family home, a large apartment with a master bedroom. I lost family vacations, the social status of a powerful man’s wife. I no longer have other people’s bows, bows addressed to him through me. That’s exactly it, I was there but everything was for him and to him through me. I was a crossed woman through whom one celebrated her husband, the glory of her husband, the money of her husband, the talent of her husband, the charm and the career of her husband”.
