Tributes have been numerous since the disappearance of Jane Birkin which occurred on July 16. The two daughters of the artist reacted in a press release and salute 16 years of a fierce battle against the disease.

Her favorite song was Jane B., written by Serge Gainsbourg. The title was re-recorded last January with the cellist Camille Thomas. “It was a moment full of humanity, of exchange between women, between two generations.
