The famous French actress Miou-Miou is today in mourning. The illustrious actress has just lost her companion, the writer Jean Teulé, who died this Tuesday, October 18, 2022 in the night. A police source has indeed announced that the 69-year-old man would have lost his life shortly before 9 p.m., at his Parisian home.
This same source announces that he “would have gone to the restaurant this weekend and had food poisoning”. Food poisoning which then led to cardio-respiratory arrest and then death. The writer was with his companion Miou-Miou at the time of his tragic and brutal death. Jean Teulé grew up in Arcueil and attended the Jules-Ferry municipal school where he had Jean-Paul Gaultier as a classmate. After going to art school, he cut his teeth at L’Écho des Savanes in 1978, he who did not have very good school results. It was in January 1986 that he published the first of his comic book reports and then won a special jury prize at the Angoulême Festival the following year. He then devoted himself to writing his novels namely “Rainbow for Rimbaud”, “Thunder Flower” or to name a few.
Since 1998, Jean Teulé was in a relationship with the actress Miou-Miou whose real name is Sylvette Herry. In 2020, during an interview with Gala, the actress explained why despite all these years together, they never took the plunge to get married: “I don’t need this. You can have in your head the desire to spend your life with someone without having to say it in front of a witness! I don’t think I like weddings at all, to tell you the truth!” she said.
