Since February 25, two countries have been at odds: Russia and Ukraine. The country of Vladimir Putin having declared war on that of Volodymyr Zelensky. The first trying to seize the Ukrainian capital, kyiv, already causing many deaths since the beginning of the fighting. Many Ukrainians try to flee the country to find refuge in neighboring countries and protect themselves. But the conflict extends far beyond the world. So that two clans were formed. The pro Ukraine and, although they are much less, the pro Russia. As a result, some carry out actions to cause harm to others. Proof of this is with the latest action led by activists supporting Ukraine, this Monday, March 14 in Biarritz.
According to our colleagues from France Bleu Pays Basque, several individuals would have liked to attack Vladimir Poutine through his ex-son-in-law. The activists, including the former figure of the “yellow vests” in the Basque Country Pierre Haffner was a part, would have broken into the residence of the latter for a very specific reason. That of capturing videos and posting them on social networks afterwards. We can also observe one of the activists waving a Ukrainian flag when he was on the balcony of the house.
Whether or not you agree with their ideas, carrying out such an action is obviously prohibited by law. This is why, once informed, the police went to the scene to carry out arrests. Two people were taken into custody, as the Bayonne prosecutor’s office reports. An investigation for “home invasion” was also opened after this intrusion. Pierre Haffner is one of those arrested and was heard on Monday at the premises of the Biarritz police station.
