his disabled and “terrorized” sister, this “sacrifice” out of love on the part of the animator to help him

Love, Jean-Luc Reichmann gives it every day to the French, at lunchtime, with “The 12 strokes of noon”. But apart from telecrochet TF1, the animator also gives for those dear to his heart and his community. It is not for nothing that, with Stéphane Plaza, the companion of Nathalie Lecoultre is one of the favorite animators of the French. This thanks to his simplicity, his sympathy, and his desire to help others. In the past, and still today, he has done a lot of work for people who are hard of hearing.

Indeed, the one who was invited to Cyril Hanouna on April 19, 2023, has always fought for his programs to be subtitled. Especially so that his sister can enjoy his work. At the microphone of yahoothe host of “12 strokes of noon” evoked the life of Marie-Laure, suffering from deafness, for whom he changed many traits of his personality and one in particular. Indeed, the companion of Nathalie Lecoultre has learned to adapt his voice so that his sister can hear it.

Jean-Luc Reichmann, happy for his sister despite his apprehensions

“She has no voice so I have to open mine”, he confides to our colleagues before explaining that he has “took time to find the right tone, the right intonation and the right look”. To understand his sister’s disability, Jean-Luc Reichmann even comes to “put himself in his place”, or almost. “I did radio for a very long time, my sister couldn’t listen to me. I put myself in her shoes, I put earplugs in my ears to try to take in this lower tone”he continues explaining, in fact, why he has this very special voice.

Despite everything, Marie-Laure always wanted to stand on her own two feet. Like the time she wanted to go to the bakery alone after being accompanied three times. “The fourth time, she goes there and comes back in tears. It’s the tragedy, the baker didn’t understand her.”. “Terrorized”, after this event, Marie-Laure has since come a long way. She is now a cashier and even if her brother had some apprehensions because of her disability, he assures us that she is happy in her job today. Even better, “It’s the only full box, everyone crowds there, it’s a crazy thing”he rejoices.
