about her, Stéphane Plaza is in a complicated situation. Indeed, the famous real estate agent, also host of several programs on M6will be tried at the end of the summer by the criminal court.
He is in fact accused by several ex-partners of physical and/or psychological violence. Three of these women who present themselves as ex-partners of Stéphane Plazadenounced “humiliation, threats, verbal and, for two of them, physical violence”.

For his part, Médiapart mentioned “problematic behavior on the part of the facilitator in the professional context”. At present, Stéphane Plaza denies the facts and remains presumed innocent. It is also because he is presumed innocent that he can remain on the air.
Nicolas de Tavernost, chairman of the group’s management board M6 indeed indicated to the Association of Media Journalists that he did not wish to remove the real estate agent from the headlines for the simple reason that when “you take someone off the air and if they are cleared afterwards, it’s horribly difficult to put them back”.

In addition, internally, an investigation was carried out and nothing could be blamed on Stéphane Plaza. In fact, no element could justify a “shelving” of Karine Le Marchand’s sidekick according to Nicolas de Tavernost who is preparing to leave his post. However, if the criminal court were to sentence him during the summer, the situation could change.
“On a personal level, there will be a judgment and we will take our responsibilities (…) We are not police officers, we are not judges, we watch, we are very attentive”added the chairman of the group’s board of directors M6 making it clear that to oust Stéphane Plaza of M6 in the event of conviction would no longer be excluded.
