Sunday, July 3, Leonor of Spain was traveling to the Princess of Girona Foundation awards ceremony in Spain. But as she presented the awards herself alongside her parents, Spain’s King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia, as well as her little sister Sofia, the father’s unloved, the 16-year-old girl was seen with severe burns on hands.
Deep and fresh looking on three fingers of his left hand, these burns worry the Spaniards. Especially since the local media have seized on it. “The origin of the large injuries that Leonor had on her ring finger, middle finger and index finger seem to be some type of burn, either caused by something hot or due to some type of fall or friction that caused a significant scratch on the skin”, said the Spanish media Vanitatis. While for an official source, it would only be a “single scratch”.
Queen Letizia violent? This is what we were able to discover during the Easter feast in 2018. When the Easter service had just ended, the cameras which broadcast the mass had not yet cut their broadcast and captured a lively altercation between Letizia and her mother-in-law. Queen Sofia approached her granddaughters to give them a hug but the wife of King Felipe intervened and turned the two little girls away from their grandmother. A few minutes later, on the forecourt, she attempted a new rapprochement to pose in front of the photographers with the infantes. But again, Letizia opposed it. She therefore violently pushed away her mother-in-law’s hand on Princess Leonor’s shoulder and foiled the shots, even if it meant being dry with the queen emeritus. When the Spaniards discovered the images, it was a shock.
