It’s been more than a month since Gérard Depardieu was at the heart of a real scandal. The actor is in fact singled out because of a number from the show Additional Investigation broadcast on France 2 in which he continues his escapades and inappropriate behavior. We recall that the actor has also been accused for several years of rape and sexual assault by several different women.
This Wednesday, January 10, 2024, it is the turn of actress Enya Baroux to make revelations about the controversial actor. Guest on the set of the show Click on Canal+, the 33-year-old actress spoke to Mouloud Achour who asked her what her worst experience at work was. To which she replied: “It was a shoot, it was with Depardieu. Nothing happened to me personally but I witnessed some rather inappropriate and unpleasant behavior and comments”.
Against all expectations, the actress draws attention to the fact that she did not react properly at the time: “But I don’t want to focus on it, I prefer to talk about my behavior at the time. I was 22 years old and there was something very… It was normal in fact. Me- I even laughed at inappropriate comments. I myself was part of this general craze where we say to ourselves “We have to laugh, yes well it doesn’t matter…”.
“I think there will always be people who behave strangely. I think it’s not specific to our environment, people who behave strangely, there are them in all circles. We talk about it more because it’s publicized”. And to add: “Now I think that the light to be shed is obviously on the people who have inappropriate behavior but also on the entire team and the kinds of habits of silence that have existed for years in this environment, where people spoke little. There was a kind of laxity and tolerance towards behaviors that were either sexually inappropriate or morally inappropriate sometimes.”.
