Chloé Jouannet is on all fronts. On April 8, viewers were able to discover the new salvo of the Derby Girl series on France TVsplash. In fiction, the actress plays the role of Lola Bouvier who wants to become the best roller derby player. To promote it, the star multiplies the interviews. This month, the ex-step-daughter of Jean Dujardin also granted an exclusive interview to TV BUZZ of Figaro.
Unvarnished, the star opened up about her journey. In particular on his adolescence which was not easy. “Me, I complexed a lot. I yo-yoed with my weight. I was one of those kind of teenagers who felt bad about themselves at times and all that…”she said. “It’s important to say that it’s normal. It’s adolescence, it goes through this kind of thing”.
“I had a lot of weight gain”
According to her words, the actress has come a long way.“I had big weight gains, followed by a sudden weight loss. I had a little bulimia when I was much younger. I suffered a little from it”, added the niece of Audrey Lamy. “I came out of that realizing that I was not alone, that suddenly I took sport as a pleasure instead of a constraint and we grew up”.
Like many stars, Chloé Jouannet is very active on the Web. As she pointed out, social networks have helped her enormously to get rid of her complexes. “Social media has really helped me. To see women who had, in my opinion, perfect bodies, who also had complexes”, clarified the daughter of Alexandra Lamy and to conclude with philosophy: “It’s a long journey when you have complexes about your body, about food, about many things, but it’s important to talk about it. I talk about it very openly […]. It’s part of life, but it gets better.”
