A few days ago, Sylvie Vartan
announced some very sad news to his fans. Next November, it should in fact bid farewell to his audience. “It’s true that there will be a sad side, I can’t hide it, but one day we have to not do one concert too many. I grew up with this audience, that’s when “I’ve been singing for 60 years, do you realize? The years go by and you have to know how to leave. It was so fast, so violent and passionate from every point of view.” she notably confided on the set of Daily.
If she is preparing to leave the stage permanently, Tony Scotti’s companion was, this Wednesday January 24, 2024, the guest of Thomas Isle in Culture Media on Europe 1. The opportunity for her to discuss this recent decision. “Everything happened so quickly in my life that at one point I said to myself […] after playing so much, singing so much, sharing unforgettable moments with people, the public, it’s going to be very, very hard for me. But at some point I still have the strength to sing, to put on a big show […] I’m getting to be a certain age, a certain age, it can’t last another ten years like this. We must not put on too much of a show, out of respect for my audience, whom I adore. […] The years count, despite everything”she explained.

“He was a little bit brutal”
During her interview with our colleague, Sylvie Vartan also looked back on the greatest moments of her career. Among the most notable events: his meeting with Johnny Hallyday at the Olympia. “He was friends with your brother, Eddie, and I think he made a little mistake when he ran into you?” the host asked him. To which the singer replied: “Above all, he was a little brutal in reference to me, without knowing thatEddie was my brother, boy jokes”.
Under the spell of the star, the Taulier would have in fact blurted out: “You saw this girl, I will do it well“. Words which certainly did not please Eddie Vartan who then witnessed the romance between his sister and the rocker.
