Nearly 840,000 hires were recorded in September, particularly in the fields of industry, construction and service. Record figures which can be explained in particular by the economic recovery.
The hiring of employees is currently in full swing, throughout France. In Vénissieux (Rhône), a company specializing in the manufacture of electronics recruited 20 people in September, which represents 10% of the workforce. “At first, I was a temporary worker, then they offered me a permanent contract. I was very interested, this is my first experience”, explains Abdelkarim Ghrab, control technician. Some hired people say they have had no difficulty finding work, even having a choice.
The economic recovery is being felt in the figures compiled by URSSAF: 2.44 million hires were recorded in the third quarter of 2021, an increase of 11.4% compared to the second quarter. In Broc (Alpes-Maritimes), the transport company Transcan was also able to recruit en masse, with nearly 30 arrivals. Recruitment took place through social networks and generated between 6,000 and 15,000 views. This made it possible to attract candidates, including Romain L’Heveder, who is in his third month as planning manager.
