At the height of the event, approximately 120,000 Hydro-Québec customers were without power, but this number had fallen by a little more than half on Saturday morning.

There were still 52,306 state-owned utility customers without power shortly before 6 a.m. Saturday morning.

The regions most affected by these blackouts in the morning were those of the Laurentians with 13,686 customers without power and the Outaouais, where 12,371 other homes and businesses were in the same situation.

Hydro-Québec teams were also at work to restore electricity in several other regions, particularly in the regions of Montérégie (9,836 customers), Laval (4,880 customers), Lanaudière (5,426 customers) as well as in Centre-du-Québec (2915).
