In 2006, a group of young musicians from Navarre came together to form the Hesian group. After a year of touring plenty of stages as the opening act for more well-known bands, Hesian is starting to make a name for himself. Very quickly, it became one of the key groups on the Basque music scene.
The fact of being 7 on stage allows the group to have instruments such as trumpet, trombone… all accompanied by the voice of the figure of Hesian: Zuriñe Hidalgo.
In addition to making music that pleases, they are close to their young (and not so young) audience. That’s why their goodbyes were so complicated to say. At the beginning of 2021, after several months without playing due to the pandemic, they manage to plan a concert in Bilbao, and a few days later, they announce via their social networks that the Hesian group is over.
Fans who participate in their creation
In 2011, the Hesian group released the album “Hitzetik” which very quickly became very, very successful. They then came up with the idea of creating a music video for one of the songs on this CD.
In the summer of 2012, they appealed to the people by asking their fans to send them a video with the song “Noiz itzuliko zara” as background music. Quickly, they receive dozens of videos from all over Spain (various places in the Basque Country of course, but also from Barcelona or Seville), from which they select 5.
