According to court documents obtained by TMZ yesterday, a judge issued an interim order ordering the American star to pay that monthly amount in order to support their three children.

Mme Baumgartner filed for divorce from the actor last May after 18 years of marriage. The couple have three children: Cayden, 16, Hayes, 14, and Grace, 13.

Kevin Costner’s ex-wife initially asked for $248,000 a month while the actor offered $52,000 monthly.

According to the new court ruling, the former lovers must divide their children’s health expenses fairly and pay half and half tuition fees in private schools and extracurricular activities.

Kevin Coster must also pay his ex $200,000 to cover his legal fees and $100,000 in forensic accounting fees.

Mme Baumgartner claims she has had no income as a stay-at-home mom since her son Cayden was born in 2007.
